We can share lots of things.
a Facebook post.
pictures.
ideas.
toys.
a smile.
our stories.
The Story.
our table.
clothes.
tools.
books.
food.
a joke.
a bench.
a bus seat.
your time.
Every single one has something in common: other people.
Go back through my list above, and picture yourself sharing each of those things with someone. It doesn’t have to be a specific person, just put yourself in each of those places.
Really. Do it.
How does it make you feel?
Chances are, most — if not all — of those things will give you a sense of happiness or contentment. They do for me.
We were made for community. For relationships. We’re not meant to live this life alone.
As we head into the weekend, most of us will encounter other people. They will be our families, our friends, the cashier at the grocery store, people at church, fans at the football field.
What can you share this weekend, and who will you share it with? Take time to enjoy the community that surrounds you.
31Days of Five Minute Free Writes is a participation in Write31Days, which takes place every October. See the rest of my craft-practicing posts linked up here.

I love your picture on the truck. Yes, really do it and see how it feels. Good advise.

Made for community…Yes! These are some of the same things I’ve been contemplating lately! Thanks for “sharing” today. 😉 ~Kiel~
